About Muslim Khan

Muslim Khan leads infrastructure and security delivery at Wolk Inc, bringing a rare combination of datacenter engineering depth and cloud-native expertise. He joined in 2023 after a decade working across on-premise datacenter environments, hybrid cloud migrations, and security hardening programs for enterprise clients in Islamabad, Dubai, and the Gulf region.

His technical background is unusually broad — he has designed and operated physical datacenter environments, architected multi-cloud platforms on AWS, Azure, and GCP, led security compliance programs including ISO 27001 and SOC 2, and built blockchain infrastructure for financial services platforms. At Wolk Inc he leads the infrastructure strategy for complex client engagements where datacenter, cloud, and security requirements intersect.

Muslim bridges the gap between on-premise and cloud-native delivery that many firms struggle with — particularly for enterprise clients migrating legacy datacenter workloads to cloud environments without compromising security posture. He has personally overseen three enterprise datacenter-to-cloud migrations and holds deep expertise in network security architecture, identity and access management, and infrastructure-as-code for hybrid environments.

Key Projects

Enterprise Datacenter-to-Cloud Migration

Lead Architect

Outcome: Migrated 120-server datacenter to AWS hybrid architecture — 48% opex reduction, zero data loss

Blockchain Node Infrastructure — DeFi Protocol

Infrastructure Lead

Outcome: Designed high-availability validator and RPC node infrastructure supporting $12M+ TVL with 99.97% uptime

ISO 27001 Certification Program

Lead Engineer & Compliance Lead

Outcome: Achieved certification in 5 months — compressed from typical 12-month timeline through parallel workstream execution

Ambitious Missions

1

Build a reusable datacenter-to-cloud migration framework that standardises the hybrid migration journey for mid-market enterprises

2

Make infrastructure security a design-time decision rather than a post-deployment patch — embed it in IaC templates from day one

3

Develop an open benchmark for blockchain infrastructure reliability that helps Web3 teams set realistic uptime expectations

Personality Traits

Thorough

designs infrastructure for failure modes others have not considered yet

Cross-domain thinker

connects datacenter, cloud, security, and blockchain concerns that specialists treat separately

Decisive under pressure

has run enough 3am datacenter incidents to stay calm when production environments fail

Documentation-first

every infrastructure decision gets a written rationale before implementation begins
